There may be a few reasons for your headlights getting some foggin. Here are a few tips.

    1. Make sure the Headlight Rubber Seal is on.
    2. Make sure you have the small black covers over the breather vents on the back of the headlight.
    3. This is the most important tip........I will assume that you get foggin at the bottom and top corner. For the Bottom corner when you reseal take a 2in DEEP THROAT C-Clamp and tighten the bottom corner and let is sit over night. For the top corner the best you can do is make sure you have plenty of sealer and use a strong clamp.

Hope this works.....I'll try to post pics when I get a chance. :D

Sounds good. Yup the next morning actually both were fogged up in the corners you said but I left them alone. Now my driver side seems dine. But right now the entire passenger headlight is fogged. I had gone around the outside with silicone as I did my other set of lights and had no problems before. Well I found a couple holes in the silicone and filled them. REALLY not looking forward to opening it back up:eek:

Wiring up my retros and have run into a problem. Using the D2S III Kit. On the wiring set, for each side there's 2 connectors, one that should go to the wire harness on the ballast and 1 that should go to the headlight bulb itself. One has a blue and black wire, one has an orange/red and black wire. Which hooks to which? Would hate to hook up stuff backwards.

You should have a connector in the harness that plugs into the ballast and the lead on the ballast plugs into the bulb

the red and black goes to the ballast and blue and black goes to the 2 small wires from the projector

took me a minute to figure it out to but they only go one way, i tried both ways. the red and black is power to the ballast and blue and black is for the solenoid that controls the hi/low feature. make sure those wires are tightly pushed in the plugs. mine were loose

That answer doesn't really make sense.....here, maybe I'll try to ask my question better. Note the pics below:

See there's a red&black wire coming away from the headlight via a connector, and a connector coming from the ballast itself. As can be seen in the 2nd pic, the wiring cluster has 2 connectors, one with a blue&black wire and one with a red&black& wire. My question is which goes with which? Red&black from the bulb to red&black on the wire cluster, and then the blue&black goes into the ballast?

Whoops, looks like superwhite10 ninja'ed me. Thanks for the answer.

So i ended up doing the BHLM along with the projectors. I painted the chrome behind the yellow reflector and the clear turn signal reflector....basically painted everything black. I think it turned out nicely, and my turn signal isn't significantly dimmer/darker, because I didn't paint/tint the reflector in front of the turn signal bulb.

Drivers side headlight, off (ignore the glare from the sunlight)

This was quite the project and I had to take apart the headlights after 2 days because I didn't glue the shrouds and they fell off

They seemed pretty solidly on there... hopefully vibrations dont knock them loose.

I thought the point of the shroud rings was so you didn't have to glue them
