There's one on CL for $60, but it's 2 hours away.

Do it! I've had mine a year without getting it stolen. I really don't think anybody would want it but it's great for me. The bottom of my bed still looks like new and things don't slide all over the place.

I agree with everyone else, the bed mat is completely worth it. I bought mine about 2 weeks after I bought the truck. Never regretted it. :)

I have one in my truck. I would definitely get one. The one I have for mine fits perfectly. I have a toolbox in the bed and it has not slid any.

have rubber bed mat in mine. would rather have bedmat damaged than the composition bed, also keeps things from sliding.

Mine came from the stealership...I think they forgot they had it in there.

Nothing slides around, but as mentioned, crap gets underneath it. I generally take mine out when the leaves start falling...along with acorns.

haha, i would never do such a thing.

Was gonna ask you what you did to keep it secure.. i was thinking of either through the drain hole or what if i used the bed bolts ... hah

I think that technically the Tacoma mat is a re-branded Dee-Zee. They're both pretty much the same. I got mine on CL for $60 as well, but I'd probably have paid a little more for the Tacoma branded mat anyways.

I know at least one person has used the bed bolts... I'd say no to that idea - bed bolts are supposed to be torqued down. Hard to do without completely squashing the mat. Not to mention if you need to remove it for some reason....

I'd say use one of the drain holes...

I have the DeeZee. Works great and was alot cheaper than going oem.

I have the no name mat I bought in 1988 for my Mitsudodge Ram-50. That's 23 theft free years. Could be the best money I ever spent.

Nope, the Toyota one is definitely nicer.

I actually did the bolt in the front of the bed mod to hold it down. Not really for security as much as physically losing it.... Last car wash I went through before bolting it down actually blew it out of the truck with the dryer jets. I'm lucky I happened to be looking in the side mirror at the time to see it fly out lol
