    so you can preorder with apple even though your using the phone with a sprint contract? and once you preorder this friday it will arrive at your house next friday? and you just go to the sprint store and activate it?

    Not sure how Sprint will work, but with AT&T and Verizon, you can preorder the phone and pick a plan right from Apple.com and it will arrive on the 14th.

    You won't need to go into the store to activate it, at least that is my understanding. Just open the box and you're good to go.

    Good idea.

    Apple.com wasn't updated for Sprint as of this morning. I imagine they will have it ready to go come 12:00am Friday, but it's a good idea to check.

    nice im going with the same one:cool: just on sprint. oh and i called sprint, they said it can be pre ordered online starting friday, as well as in store. if you want just the 8GB iphone 4, you can preorder that right now
