    that's great! Last time I went there with my POS Lincoln, I had them save all my old parts. That probably really pissed him off. He actually had to do the work.

    good, back on topic!! i know man, and this kinda shit happens every day, especially to people who know nothing about maintenance or cars in general. its just shitty to pay for a service that the people you paid didnt even do!!

    My good friend works at a jiffy lube. I'll have to ask him about that. He brings me mobile1 synthetic and an oil filter for free periodically. Must be the ones that other people paid for and didn't get.

    i hate to say it, but i dont blame ya for doubting it either. if ya see who they got doing oil changes at the stealerships(young high school kids, who do only oil changes)......you probably wouldnt even wonder why. even something simple as an oil change!!!

    When I was 16 my mother's dodge stratus went in for a recall........it caught on fire at a gas station cause they didn't do the repairs.

    get this shit man.......the walmart that my mom works 3rd shift for(york,sc), back about 4 or 5 years ago, owed at least 5 or 6 people new engines.....simply because they drained the oil for a simple oil change, and didnt put any oil back in:eek:, then on the way home......the peoples engines locked up......talk about some dumb shit:crazy:!!!

    I hear ya, but he's my best friend.....been their through thick-n-thin for me. There will be no jewel kicking from me. Besides, I change my own oil. It's not rocket science.

    You don't actually need the extra octane of the corona. You should be able to run straight off of Busch Light. Maybe Milwaukee's Beast, but I wouldn't go that low.
