AVERY has been WAIVED!!!!!!! Just great now i have to see him wandering the streets of Hartford this winter, i would think that he will go to Europe where he can work on his fashion line and maybe be more accepted (Simmonds knows where Im going here), or some team may take a risk on him, but possibly not until re-rentry waivers, who knows, i assume hes done in the NHL. I would say that it sucks for the Rangers to eat that salary but Dallas is still on the hook for 1/2 of his 4 mill because the Rangers picked him up on re-entries when they got him.

just heard on the radio that a to be named Canada based team is interessted in him if they can get he "cheap".. On same note Toronto GM has already come out to say they dont feel Avery would fit in

Are you going tonight? I wanted to get tix to see the banner raised, but at $350/each (for 300 sections) I think we'll be watching from the couch.

(Hopefully it'll be on Versus so I won't have to listen to Jack Edwards)
