Nope, didn't need to do it. Long story short, I told the dealership I got my weathertechs to prevent the pedal from getting caught under the mat. They then reimbursed me for the weathertech mats with a credit at the dealership of $200. 2/3 payment for my roof rack. :)

I've had the transmission mount fix that on a few. The counter measured one is shorter so it changes the driveline angle.

If you have installed a lift kit and larger tires you can't expect the dealer to fix a vibration for free, plain and simple.

Does the vibration go away in 4-wheel drive?
Most of the time that vibration is caused by lifting the truck (Gen2 in particularly)
You can try and drop the front differential and see if that cures the vibe.
It does on some and others it doesn't. Most just live with the vib.

And others well..... They get to replace a front differential.
It's actually the bearings in the front diff, but labor wise it is cheaper to replace the
    the whole front diff.

Toyota screwed us on the Gen2 as far as lifting. The older models would run fine with stilts under them.
The Gen2 doesn't seem to like any lift past ~1.5" with out extensive modifications.

Toyota would be better off selling their cars and trucks through Amazon or Costco. The salesmen are so cocky at the dealerships that I've been to. Now that my extended maint. Is up, I don't plan to go to the dealer anymore because they're just more expensive AND they don't seem to know Toyotas better than any other shop. My dealership was trying to pressure me into a "power steering flush and refill" and an alignment. I know that I didn't need the alignment and at 30K miles I shouldn't have had to change my power steering fluid.

i had my wife take my truck in on tuesday for first oil change. she waits 30 minutes and they call her back up to pick up the truck. she tells me that it was fast and that they were nice.. few hours go by and someone from the service department calls me and asks if i was happy with the service.. to which i replied i dont know i havent seen my truck yet. after i get home i pop the hood to check things out and i notice oil filter hasnt been changed and the oil on the dip stick is dark. so i go another step farther and pull drain plug to get a small sample from the pan and sure enough it looks like choclate syrup. turns out like i expected she took my truck in for an oil change and they never changed the oil or filter! So at 730 next morning i took it in and showed the service writer who thought i was high and told him to take a sample from a gun in the shop... 2 minutes later service manager wants to talk to me and my truck is getting the oil changed this time.
