^^ Actually if you are making good money right now out of HS and don't need it for college then I say build man, build. Once you have multiple responsibilities for a house and other things the money doesn't get to go to toys. I am dropping $2000 on windows for the house right now instead of getting gears, rear bumper, winch, and all those other things I could get with that same cash. Build it up the way you want it and then all you have to do is drive. :mudding:

Did Red Cone last month and it was about 6 hours round trip from the house and back. But that included BSing waiting for people and a stop for lunch. Looking at the weather the mountains are expecting 6 to 12 inches up high. Not rain on anyone's parade but I don't think you will be able get over red cone now. :(

I know but I ordered them at 1:30 from Ben at toytec on tuesday and they were here wed when I got home from work. That was just the regular shipping. The fedex part isn't so amazing but the I was impressed they got my order, charged my cc, packaged it and had it ready for fedex in less than 30 min. I will definitely buy more stuff from them in the future.

Yeah not looking forward to that because I will be doing new door slabs in the frames and new hardware. Luckily the door knobs are a cool oil rubbed copper already so I am just having to get oil rubbed copper hinges. But changing out just the door, trimming it down to fit, and then redoing the trim around the frame will be a PITA.

Next spring we are planning an electrical panel upgrade and a new driveway so I am just saving all the pennies while sneaking out a bit here and there for my truck. ;)
