    Ok,

Corporate bonuses are incomming and I am looking at a possible supercharger upgrade. Are there any other upgrades that are necessary. I remember reading somewhere that you might require other upgrades if you put the supercharger on.

Usually the kits come with a 7th injector which operates during WOT in the higher RPMS, or they might come with 6 slightly larger stock injectors. all depends how big of an upgrade you want to go. if your planning on breaking the 350ish HP limit then you'll need to upgrade the clutch and transmission too to take the extra power. You might want to do the upgrades anyways if you enjoy dropping the clutch or jostling your drivetrain

anyways the TRD SC comes with bigger injectors and utilizes the stock intake but your required to go to the dealership and have your truck reflashed unless you go with URD tuner which runs about 1200....you can use some of the upgrades URD provides to use with TRD such as the smaller pulley or the URD fuel pump upgrade. The sky the limit with SC on both brands and how much your willing to spend

You just need to wear a heavier right shoe. Saw a Tundra at the stealership in Carlsbad today with a supercharger. The guy punched it on the camino de whatever outside the lot, and it hauled ass. Have not seen a faster street truck- hopefully the charger does the same on a Taco. And f your gas mileage. Buying 91 ain't so bad. My WRX gets about 18 mpg w/ 280hp/280ft.

TRD super charger, TRD cold air intake, and exhaust. Downey coil overs coming soon
I love my supercharger. You wont be disapointed. I did install the TRD cold air intake and TRD rear cat back at the same time. The intake to help with the pulling of the air from the super charger, and the exhaust to let it all out. This truck is awsome with the supercharger installed. Running the 91 vs the 87 oct. only costs about $4 more per fill up.

You can spend as much as you want when it comes to gaining hp. You can't go wrong with the TRD set up.

If you get the TRD then nothing additional is needed. I have one, I love it. I am also running a CAI and cat back exhaust. I would reccomend putting the 2.8" under drive pulley on. No reflash is needed and it seriously improves the power. I see 18-20 mpg here down in Tucson arizona as long as I stay out of the boost to much and I am lifted with heavy 285 tires and a lot of heavy steel armor.

The URD 2.825 super grip pulley is a must, it will make the SC run like it is supposed 2. Get it install it with the AFE STage 2 SI or the TRD 1st gen CAI and enjoy.

Yea, mine is actually happier just on the lower edge of boost (2000) rpms and I get my best gas milage there. Around town I see numbers as high as 25mpg on my scan gauge. its the starts, stops, and waiting that kills the milage. I also find accelerating quickly is better than babying it off a start.

I'd rather take the Tundra than the Taco! Wanna trade? :p A supercharged Tundra pumps out 500HP. That'll smoke a supercharged Tacoma!

I have a supercharger in my Taco and sometimes when I'm a cheap bastard, I'll put 89 octane in it. It runs almost the same as 91. I don't always do it though because I'm afraid I might damage something...

With that CAI, URD 2.825 pulley and exhaust, what does your wide band / AF-R gauge show at WOT / open loop?

    hey buddy
here is some info on how the light bar fits with the trd supercharger the kit adds another radiator for the a2w internal intercooler and changes the center brace you may have to make a little bracket for the lower bolt

the cooler sits about 1" further forward then the radiator but make sure your lights clear i dont think that will affect the hella 1000s it will also clear the output hose on the right in the lower position

    4c6e1833_a2d33fdb921b5c7e56373265e1a1274e97c60c42.jpg

see the center brace it is alot smaller but just make a small L bracket for the side

    60b7f1b1_69ad013e6184f008ba778fba91d721e8c64ee3c0.jpg

they space the horns but they are relocated anyway
