Here is how she sits now. I think I am going to live with it for a little while, then probably add in the rear from Toytec to bring it back to the stance that I am looking for.

Does anyone have the part number for the 5100's that fit the first gen?
I'm digging up the internet and no one wants me to buy these. Every website says they don't fit my generation but the 12 pages of pictures here imply otherwise.
Anyway if someone has a part number that'd be awesome.
Do they only fit if you put the Eibachs on too?

Get them at Downsouth. CALL THEM! tell them you are from TW. You'll get a discount. They will also help you decide what size of 5125s are best for you.

You do not need to use Eibach coils. You can use the stocks and leave the 5100s on 2.5'' and it will lift the truck. Not as nice as the Eibach coils tho.

HOWEVER! if you do get Eibach coils you must set the 5100s on the lowest setting.

    Thanks

You can get a complete plug and play 5100/Eibach and bushings from Toytec. They charge extra for putting it together though. I know you can get the top plate from Toyota, but i dont know where else.

If you get them fro Toyota its like 65-75 bucks each lol

Toyotech can send em to you fully assembled and even adjustable like a coil over

    Cost a bit more..

Why do you want them fully assembled before hand?? It take like maybe an hour and a half to do the front with just tearing out the old stuff and reusing the stock plates..

    Thanks Guys,

I am getting help from local TW members on switching out the struts and coils. And i will be trying to knock out as many mods as i can in one day. So if i had the parts all ready for the swap it would cut down on time significantly. Last time a few of went to get some compressed and they took for ever just to get to us and then ring us up at the register. PIA

I already have the 5100's and the Ebaich coils sitting in my garage. So toytec putting them together is out of the question. So i'm looking for everything i need so i can have it pre-assembled for the swap.

VAcountry boy: How were the plates quality? I found these on the website which ones did you get?

My stock struts are still on my truck. I am assembling my 5100's prior to the removal of the stocks.

Therefore i will need the mount. However NAPA isn't clear as to what part i need. A shock mount or a strut bearing plate.

Here is a pic of what i need... #7

    F809186.jpg

This is the Shock Mount that NAPA offers Part Number: ATM 1042474
    1140953.jpg

And this is the Strut Bearing plate that NAPA offers Part Number: NS 907927
    1225492.jpg

Since i won't have the stock struts off at the time of assembly i need to know which one of these will replace the stock plate.

Okay..so why aren't you just pulling the stock struts and dissembling them and then assembling the new ones? What i did, took like an hour to do. Then an hour or less to tear out the stock ones and put in the new ones. It just seems like unnecessary money to spend..

So basically I am trying to cut down on the time on the day of the swap. We will be doing the swap on a Saturday when sears (where I will be getting my coils compressed) is the most busiest. Last time we took some coils to the sears on a Saturday it took 2 hours just to get them compressed Because they were so busy.

And I'm looking at NAPA so I don't have to pay $75 per plate. I don't mind paying $15-25 per plate.

    So:
More time=more mods can be done in one day.

That what I was thinking but nAPA couldn't tell me which one I needed.

I'll be ordering the top one then.

    Thanks

Yup. They should be able to reuse the top plate, bushings and washers. And yes, that's what most do.
