how much did what cost? the lights were $15 for a pair... thank you cheap ass made in china shit. :D

i'm thinking about picking up a pair of the speed tech lights though, those are sweet. also want to add some LED strips and use them as strobes.

dual spare carrier/rear bumper is going on the truck at the end of this month, so i'll figure out what i want to do once i get that on there and see what room i have to work with

well you can still turn them on with or with out the covers on. shocktaco no DTFtacoma got a fix it ticket for no covers and i got a warning for not having covers on my bed lights at pismo

i think whether theyre LED, halogen, HIDs you have to have covers on them.

only time i ride with no covers is when im driving from home to pismo and back. i dont need to be spending more money on fix-it tickets

also, the LED strobes i'm talking about are the thin little strips. same things as what i have for turn signals up front. when they are off you cant even see them and there is no "cover" for them anyways

the speed techs are different, plus they would be facing backwards. a cop really has to be bored to pull you over for rear facing lights that dont have covers
