    www.GeorgiaCarry.Org has been working on a civil rights lawsuit here in GA where the state singles out Places of Worship as a place you cannot carry a weapon. The appeal was heard in federal court here today but the court wont make a decision until later. I believe that GA is only one of abotu 4 states than ban carry in churches.

    I'm guessing letting 2nd graders carry is next. When will you people get that, while a majority of Americans support second amendment rights, that same majority does not support allowing guns absolutely everywhere.

    At some point, this is going to backfire on you!

    I'd be careful about speaking for a majority of any one...I believe that there are a lot of people who don't care either way...and then vocal minorities both for unlimited gun rights and for complete gun control.

    also swords(they have a blade over 5 inches and are subject to the same off limits places as guns) are also banned in GA churches but if youre a Christian youre commanded to carry a sword by Christ in the book of Luke 22:36-38

    well its knives over 5 inches...but sword would meet the definition in GA...knives under 5 inches can be carried and actually guns arent completely banned NFA items and 16 inch rifles are legal to carry in a so called loophole....

    Before the civil war men in Georgia were actually required to carry a gun to church and if they didnt the pastor could have them fined(iirc it was in response to a massacre of a church by natives)

    not illegal in some states for a 2nd grader to carry...it would be to school though as federal law would be violated because they wouldnt have a state issued license to exempt them from the law

    I can't carry to work...On a military base. The same kind of base where a radical ideological individual went on a shooting rampage.
    Not to mention-If I can't take it everywhere with me...I need to leave it at home or secured in the car...Neither really make me happy. I hate that I can't carry to work-because I means I can't carry while I do errands before/after work without stopping at the house.

    I haven't needed to use my gun ever- but I don't want to be in a situation where I am wishing I had it.
