i tried out a 2012 access today.i did notice the back seat area console is now an open cavity to put stuff in.not a real console with the lid.also salesman told us it sits a little higher than the 11.don't know if that is correct as i have just begun to have interest in a tacoma as i have retired.it rode very well but noticed some wind noise.the rear camera quit before we left for a ride and never did work after first time he put it in reverse.also noticed sticker said 19/24 this year instead of 19/25 last.any thoughts on the 2012?

Checked one out yesterday, Not sure on the 2012 front end, wife likes it although it somewhat looks out of place on basic 5 lugger to me. I do like the white gauge faces and steering wheel although other than a bit of a new truck smell and feel when driving, I really did not notice enough refinement to make me lose my a$$ on trading my very clean 09 Tacoma Manual trans in. Would like to move to a Auto trans Tacoma due to a ankle injury although (2) local dealers want to give me $1800 less than trade-in value. Might try a Nissan this time. Wish there were more options in small trucks.

    Is plasti-dip a mod?
I have a 2012 access cab. Prett much bone stock, I4 4x4 5 speed. It's my first Tacoma, so I have no point of refence, but it's the most enjoyable 400 miles I've put on a vehicle in all my 33 years :)

Getting my lift, moto metals and nitto's Tuesday!

My buddy has a 2011 Nissan. Nice truck. Gets stuck alot though... But for daily driving, The Frontier's turning radius BLOWS.
Seriously. like a 10 point turn to get into a space at a parking garage...
You'd be going to the opposite end of the spectrum compared to the Tacomas.
