The quality fit and finish is at a high standard, I've been pretty pleased with it since it was installed. It doesn't leak and has a really good seal, I had (Cap it) install it, not sure if their available in the states, probably. They were a great company to use while purchasing the canopy, I even went in there while it was being installed and bro'd down with the dude installing it and the owners didn't mind. I went back at a later date cause I stripped one of the small plastic handles at the rear of the canopy on the side window and they hooked me up with a new one free of charge. So watch you don't tighten the handles down to hard on the rear windows if you go with the 100 xl.

The removable front slider is a good option because it provides air flow between the front of the canopy and the rear of the canopy, which is great if your sleeping in there and is also good to prevent the inside of the canopy from smelling. That's a good price you got quoted, they are not cheap but you have to pay for quality. Hopefully it works out well for you.

I just finished re painting an old canopy for my other tacoma, it was blue and the 04 tacoma is silver. Got it free off craigs list, the local body shop quoted me $300 to $500 to paint it, so I decided to hand bomb it myself seen as it was free and old, turned out alright for the most part. Check out the pics just finished it today. Matched the paint with the code of the truck too. Saved the extra money and put it towards a thule roof rack which I got at a used sporting goods shop for $39.

It had been in storage ( on the side of a house) for a few years. I assume that it was leaned over because it is about 1/4 inch off on one side. It is made for my model truck so it should be perfect. But its good enough for now. I dont think the black looks terrible either. It also came with 2 roof bars.

 

anyone ever seen a roofrack by jerry craft? i have crossbars to go on my camper but i cant figure out how to make them fit.!

Does anyone know any good places to sell toppers? I dont want mine anymore and I would rather sell it for a decent price instead of keeping it. I have looked around and cant find any places near me that will buy them and I would prefer to avoid craigs list and sites like that.
