Sixty four and the proud owner of a 2010 DC, SB, 4X4 TRD Sport. 34,500 miles and on my way to southern Utah to chase angry brown trout with my fly rod.

I tow a little boat trailer full of fly fishing pontoon boats/gear all over the inter-mountain west behind the toyota. I may not be interested or able to run this hard twenty years from now so while I can I intend to.

It's nice to know there are some other "experienced" Tacoma owners out there.

    Mike first welcome to TW.

Second glad you found the thread/

Third post up a pic or two of said truck and trailer. ;)

Good morning to all. The family and myself will be attending a suprise party for my 85 YO aunt this weekend in PA. I need to clean up the car today after I drop the wife and son off at school and workout at the gym. It will be a busy day.

Morning all! Hi to TW and Mike!!

They even let some of us younger folks in our '50s here.

Day 2 of frost this morning - frost delays at the local golf courses but the weekend looks dry and warm for October.

    Enjoy!!

Happy Saturday and the beginning of a 3 day weekend for me!!

My son and grandson are visiting us this weekend. We'll be going to our college's football game this afternoon. The rest of the weekend will be spent around our farm. Mark Jr. brought a few of his latest MILSURPLUS weapons so we'll be doing some shooting - I have a few of mine that are still unfired so I'll add a bit of lead to the mix.

This morning, though I'll be heading off to put new shoes on the Taco - time to replace the original 2004 tires.

idk. he don’t get on the internet much. with what he is doing for work now is more office stuff and it all has to be done on computer. so he gets tire of computers. he use to be out in the woods more. but is (in a way kinda) like managing the dispatchers. he works for the state wildlife agency. i think he is retiring august of ’12. and we are going to build a shop. he likes to do wood working and we have thousands of $$$’s in tools. but you guys will be glad at least he has a ’00 4wd extended cab tundra. well the suv work gave him is chevy tho. he also hates the crackberry work cave him for a phone.

No unfortunately I did not. One of my big regrets...I was planning on joining the Air Force but got drafted into the Army in 1968. Two weeks before reporting I was in a car wreck and went through the windshield. In and out of a coma for two weeks, almost bled to death, almost broke my neck... Almost lost it. I had over two hundred stitches in my face, broken nose, knocked out teeth....looked like raw hamburger.
My dad got a three month postponement/extension for my report date. When I reported they took one look at my face and they said I wouldn't be able to wear a helmut with the way my forehead was....still pretty mangled up, and I was scheduled for more reconstructive surgery. So 4F. It took years to completely recover and still have lots of neck problems.
Some things are just out of our control.

morning all! thought my home insurance was high. your's sounds like a bit much. guess they have to make up the payout for all the damage thats being caused by mother nature. got the boat on the water at a local lake. it leaks. now I'll go nuts untill I find the culprit. It's all welded, shouldn't leak. could be as simple as the drain plug. lake has walleyes, but couldn't do anything. didn't spend that much time there, just wanted to check things out. got it set up pretty good.

Rob, I hope you didn't think I was picking on you or demeaning you because you didn't serve. If that's the way you took it, I sincerely apologize - that was not my intent at all and you did not need to explain why.

Sounds like you went through a horrendous ordeal - glad you survived all that.
