    toothpick, wait until the dip settles, then poke at it here and there moving the dip around, it will tear right off, but will leave the dip on the lettering where it is, just don't be soo rough with it.

    and make sure the rims are dry, plastidip is like oil with water, they won't mix. you can spray over it, BUT you will be wasting it as well as just creating a "tent" over the water which will end up a nasty looking air bubble.
