Nice looks like a great day. Did you guys air down your Duratracs at all? Just curious cause I only had mine in snow one time the day after I got them on and they kicked butt but I was aired down to 20psi.

so i got a notice on my truck this morning saying it will be towed in 72 hours because of expired plates...my registration goes to 9/11 but with the 30 day grace period i have until the end of the following month to pay my registration...with the grace period statute, am i still considered expired?

pissed me off this morning getting this notice, i already left a message with the security company who the patrolman works for to get this straightened out but curious to see what you guys think

the freakin rent a cops here are the only thing i hate about colorado. who thought it was a good idea to give them guns and basically police powers. Where i am from rent a cops are for the most part a joke, as they should be, if you want to be a cop go to the academy and make it happen don't try to flex nuts with a plastic badge. In our complex our idiot fired off 8 9mm rounds at a stolen car that was trying to get away. So this genius in the middle of a complex of probably a couple hundred adults and lots of children, we have a lot of young families, lets loose almost a clip of high penetration pistol ammunition over a car that is worth less than a couple thousand dollars.
AS far as your problem NYCO I had a similar problem with our barney fife and i found it was much more effective to talk to the apt management and have them tell the security company to leave my truck alone then to try to deal with them directly.

Yeah I would talk to your complex about it. Colorado law is 30 day grace period but your complex might just have a simple rule, out of date you get a ticket. If you are parking in a private lot you are at the discrestion of the complex. Stupid but I am sure if you chat with them they will work with you.

They are only civilians such as you/I but are enforcing private property rules. Think of it like this, you have rules at your house correct? If you were to have all this extra $ laying around and needed some help enforcing it you would hire a security officer to enforce the rules.
Bob- was/is your truck parked on private property? If so, speak the management company who hired the security staff to enforce those rules. I'm sure they enforce this particular rule of theirs to prevent any vehicles being stored there for somebody who needs a place to dump their vehicle for "x" amount of time.

I do security (management) for a living.is this in house or contracted security? In addition many cities have municipal codes that advise such and such has to be posted to tow from private property that's open to the public
