    Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
    I'm currently in love with that model. Oh if only you were willing to ship... GLWTS

    FFL to FFL is pretty cheap.

    FFL = Federal Firearms Licensee

    If it is an out-of-state sale, the gun has to be shipped to an FFL so that the receiving FFL can file the proper paperwork, etc...

    ATF Verbiage (one of the last questions at the bottom, asking about record keeping)

    Hope that helps.

    A quite a few FFLs will do it for nothing, if you've done business with them in the past. $20.00-$30.00 is the average rate for a transfer. I'm not sure, but don't think the seller has to ship through a FFL, just has to be received through one, for all of thats states paperwork to be processed. I've bought a few guns of Gunbroker.com and a local pawnshop recieved them for me, for free. Of course I OKed this with them prior.

    I think you are right, but I've always just done FFL to FFL. Makes me feel better knowing bases are covered on each end.

    I think I paid $25 the last time I did one, but it was an armory I had never purchased anything from.

    A lot of times you can find a police officer at a local PD that is an FFL. The department I worked at had a sign saying if anybody had questions about FFL's or needed to do a transfer, to ask for one of our Sergeants (who was one of our FFL's).

    Local deals are definitely the easiest. Your only responsibility is to not knowingly sell to a felon, or anybody that is prohibited by law from owning a firearm.
