Most of my wheeling is done in Colorado so I haven't seen much of what WY has to offer. Met up with Blackdawg yesterday in Lander to hit some nice trails, only to hit the first snow of the season instead. Neither of us had chains and right when we decided to turn around I started sliding sideways down a steep part of the trail. Gives us an excuse to go next summer I guess.

Is was a lot worse than this, which was taken on the way back down.

Before the trip today I had only flattened the pinch weld in the front. I was planning on the tires leaving witness marks. They did a bit more than that. :p Started bending the metal in front of the rear wheel. I'll need to trim a bit of the metal and some of the flare, front and back of rear wheel. I just need wheel spacers up front, rubbing the frame a bit at full lock.

so the front fit fine with just flattening pinch welds, but the rear got all messed up?

my old 255's rubbed the rear way worse than the front. probably because I still had my sway bar on though.

Yep, I don't think I had any rubbing up front except for the slight rub on the frame. I got the flares off before it messed them or the bedsides up. It also seemed to rub the passenger side more than the driver's side. I had to bend the front corner of the bedsides in with some pliers. I'll take my dremel to it this week though. I'll post a pic of what I cut out. Oh and my sway bar is removed too.

@digi, under normal driving/ braking I can't really tell a difference, but that was to be expected since that's pretty much what I read. the big difference was when towing, the extra size helps out.

now im not sure if I want to go with 285s or 255s.. hmm
