Ya no kidding! I love the bike, super nimble and snappy. Just not enough for the sand sometimes.

exactly, in the dunes i was tapped everywhere. i was the only one out of all my friends on a 250 and only one could keep up on his 450 though.

then i got my 450 and it was a whole different deal.

Its funny how my screen name is CR250 but I dont have a CR anymore. Ive had bikes since I was 7 but recently I had an 04 YZ450f. Sold it and I bought an 06 YZ450F. And then in 08 bought the CR250 (2 stroke) and had both. In Jan I sold the CR and now all I have is the YZ lol.

I have ridden 250f's around and they def would be hard in the dunes unless you weigh 120lbs or less. The CR250 had plenty of power to get around but nothing like the 450f. A 450f has a ton more power but the CR250 was better for jumping

yeah, for the first weekend when i switched too my 450 from my 250 i was slower. it was so weird, on my 250 i bombed through the dunes, on my 450 it took me a couple trips cause of the weight difference
