So, This last weekend I had the privilege of having my dad's brand new 4-door SVT Raptor, Fully loaded! the truck was SO spacious and so luxurious. The sony sound system was INSANE!. I know that they have a VERY heavy price tag.. But man, This truck was truly something else! Through the Differential locker, and 4x4 Hi/Lo I was able to get up, around, and through ANYTHING i could find. It even has an "off-road" mode and a "climbing" mode. Through the indash you could see which wheels were getting/needing power, and i didnt toy around with it much.. but i feel like you could choose which wheels to give power to! (not sure)

And as for the suspension. WOW. I was mobbing it pretty damn hard, and i felt like i was on the road. Fox did work when they threw those things on. Its probably valved specifically for the dimensions of that vehicle.

But after the crazy fun weekend. I headed GLADLY back to my tacoma. And was very happy to have it back <3

Nothing more than an f150 with extra shit, its full-size which means it can't go places the nimble Tacoma can and it weighs a lot more.

For the price of a raptor I could buy a FX4 F-150 and put in a sick coilover suspension with almost the same capability and still have 10g's left over. It's nice, but not worth the price tag on it.

Actually, I disagree.. I believe your getting what you pay for.
There is a lot more to it than just suspension.

You have to give Ford credit for having the balls to bring the Raptor to market. Contrast it with the conservative Tacoma Baja Edition.

It is very fast for a truck, 400 hp and 430 pounds of torque ain't nothing to play with. I'm just glad that he didn't get the tacky vinyl mud graphics on it my friend did and regretted it within a week of owning it the dealer wouldn't give him his money back so me and him spent a few hours with a razor blade scraping it off. They are very nice trucks, SVT just need to work out the kinks and bring the price tag down before I would even consider buying one.

well it is extremely fast offroad (due to LT suspension and 400hp), but on the street it is not. but that isn't what its meant for
