While to some extent I agree, it doesn't help enthusiast such as myself that have absolutely no window into the automotive world. I do all my own work on my vehicles so my "friends" in the business are limited.

Yeah, this is also true. I believe there reason is the same reason CES (the SEMA of Electronic Expos) isn't open to the pubilc. It's suppose to be an event for Manufacturers to present their latest to their clients (Distrubtors/Stores etc)

    correct!

sema is not for the end user and you typically cant buy a damn thing there anyway. its not geared to be a retail outlet like other events.its really only useful for business to business marketing.

I'm very familiar what SEMA is and what its for as well as the target audience. I'm just asking if anyone has a way to get me in, for my own personal benifit.

They have some really good classes from what I have been told. Also some good networking events.

I would email shops that are going to the show. But I think you are going to have a hard time finding something so last min. CL maybe?

Yeah, but I don't consider Luxury PreRunners in the same class...they're not really Raptors anymore, still super B-A tho:cool:

im leaning away from score tagged now as this truck will probably never ever see a race.... just a weekend warrior.

to get everything to score specs is really hard.

in the rules where it says need 1 front hoop and 1 back hoop, bottom floor to the top of the cage, and i called a friend of mine that knows alot more about score than me and he explained it, i just misunderstood it.

    tee he.

i have been talking with mjp2, and linked2002 and i got it squared away, but what im thinking is....

will this truck ever be raced? most likely not.

"if" i ever race i will probably go to a trophy light.

im leaning away from a score tagged and just do a weekend warrior and make it beefy.... opinions?
