I downloaded the componant for the 1st gen toyota tacoma on sketchup. I am using this to see what the truck would look like with different parts on it. I went to put on a new bumper and couldn't delete the stock one. Can anyone help me??

im not familiar with that program but Im assuming the file you downloaded is a single part file (meaning it is all one piece) if thats the case there is nothing you can do to delete the stock bumper.
