Alright.....been a little bit since I have been on here.....my truck is making a chirping sound when I give it gas until about 25-30, then when it gets back below 30. I checked all the suspension, brakes, and greased the u-joints.......I put her up on jackstands and dropped it into gear with and without the tires and drums off and hear the sound.......sounds like the rear driveshaft.....anyone else had this issue....if so what did you do to fix.....

Have you tried to grease the u-joints? It fixed mine.

I had the same thing on my truck and it drove me nuts for a week. I greased and checked all the U joints and I was sure they were OK but a good mechanic I took it to found that the rear U joint was bad. Made for a cheap fix, especially since I was worried it may have been the double cardan joint.

could be the carrier bearing. Check it by looking at how low the drive shaft is hanging in the bearing. If the bearing looks to be sagging in the rubber its suspended in, its worn out.

You said that you greased the U-joints, did you also grease the slip-yoke?

yea......I even re-greased everything........I was told by Toyota that at the slip joint on the rear end side of the carrier bearing could be the cause......if so it may end up meaning I have to pony up the 300 for a new shaft.....I found the center carrier for 50 online....so if I have to replace the shaft everything is getting changed.....joints, fittings and bearing....just wondering if anyone else had better luck as far as testing goes...
