howdy, i'm new to the forum and am heavily considering trading in my subaru for a new taco. i just wanted to make sure that the combination that i want is actually available, as i was not able to combine all the options together on the "build your own toyota" website.

    so here's what i want:
    -double cab
    -long bed
    -4x4
    -4.0l v6
    -6spd manual
    -trd sport package

and since i wasn't able to build it like that on toyota's website, i wasn't able to price it if it's at all possible. does anyone have any information on this? thanks.

I have that truck, except for the manual tranny. I think Toyota only offers auto on the DC-LB here in MN.

Try building it on Cars Direct

That is how we found our Access Cab 2.7L 4-Cylinder with 5 Speed Manual tranny and 4WD.

My local dealer basically said that combo was impossible to get.:D

The long bed with a manual trans does not exist. You can only get the Doublecab w/ V6 and manual trans in the shortbed model.

I tried to have Toyota make me this combination. I really wanted it when buying my 2013 in black. Mine has everything you mentioned but it's an automatic. Nice thing is you can put an auto start alarm system on it and not have to worry about doing a mod, or leaving it in gear and it starting. Toyota can't do that combination and wont do it on any special order. I tried everything I could do to have them make that at two dealerships. I ordered my truck and waited for them to build it but they wouldn't make it with the 6-speed manual for me. They don't offer it. They also wont give you an entune system in a manual transmission vehicle. I guess they view the JBL system as too much of an upgrade to offer in a manual transmission, lame. I even asked if they plan on making that combination in the future and they said they will have no info on what comes out in the future for 6 months. I ordered mine in January and got it mid March. It was a real disappointment for me that I couldn't get a long bed double cab with a 6 speed manual transmission but I'm really happy with my automatic. Good luck finding what's right for you.

Fuck, I was still in middle school last time this thread was active, that is kinda sad lol. 1/19/07 was actually one of the worst days of my life, which is why I remembered upon seeing the date.
