    I shoulda known.... Elk and deer noses stick out a bit further, a la dog like. Taxidermists occasionally flatten them out a bit though. I remembered the mount being there, but couldn't for the life of me recall what the animal was. And once you told me it wasn't the dog, I realized that this creature was not alive.
