Yea, thats why I asked if it was residential or commercial, we kinda megasize everything with industrial so it obscures our viewpoints

In case we have a "100 year flood". No shit. We have to build things out here in accordance to an imaginary flood....
Mostly comercial. Ive done residential, but not in along time.

They said its a "Drill Rig". from what I understand, they are transported, and assembled on site, and are very large.

Dont underestimate the power of the "F" word

yeah....That might be what it looks like. I'll post a pic :) Part of our reegs. require that the property be able to contain all the water that coomes onto it. no water is allowed off the property, so the Dry Wells are used as containment, as well as water retentions, etc.. Pretty silly when you think that, so far, we have gotten a YTD rainfall of under 3".....

Most States do. We get flooding if we get 1/2" of rain in an hour. Most times, we might get that in a good day of rain.

It depends on the size of the property, and how many wells are alocated for it. FRom what my limited knowledge provides. From what I remember, I think they run anywhere from 20, to 250+ feet deep. Also depends on the ground water table depth. When I have seen them on my jobs, seems they drill to a certain depth, then fill 30% with aggregate. Some have concrete liners, some plastic, some dont have any.....
