I just got my FJ aligned again after installing my OME lift. It drives and tracks straight at low speeds but once I speed up it feels like the tires want to track every gradient in the road leading to me having to hold the wheel to the right or left of center. I've researched that to really get the alignment straight you need UCA's. I guess I'll grab them. Thought or opinions?

I hear this with the fj's when it comes to lifts.. I am not an fj owner, my uncle owns one lifted, and he has uca's. He gets perfect alignment, on the other hand, on my tacoma I have not got aftermarket uca's, and my truck rides mint.

that's weird...had a 3" spacer lift and had a great alignment. Was still able to get an awesome alignment with my mid travel set up. Wish I had #'s for you but i threw away the slip from my recent alignment (last monday)

Here is a pic of it. The UCA looks pretty stretched. I had a mom and pop shop do the alignment and I've had to have him do it twice and it still isn't right. I paid him a good amount to do it right away because I needed it done before a school started and I wouldn't have time. It drives fine at lower speeds but starts pulling at higher ones. Really annoying. The guy uses a old school machine that doesn't even have a computer hooked to it. I'm thinking I just need to eat the money I paid and go somewhere else. I was thinking about the firestone lifetime alignment all though I hate chain shops. It'll probably pay for itself since I like to tinker with my trucks and I plan on keeping the FJ. I once had techs at good year destroy my brakes by impact wrenching my lug nuts.
