    Hmmm.....

I also found the 'official' cookie bowl dough recipe last night. I will be trying it next time.

You can put them on as a topping!

 This is a sign that you've been on TW too long....

    Baking.

No :( searching for clips right now - I know I'll break some getting the old grill out and those darn things are hard to find! Still debating on headlights and whether or not to paint the chrome part of the grill too. So many decisions! :goingcrazy:

Reducing the butter may help. A cookie has aton of butter. What does butter do when heated, turns liquid. that may be whats causing problems.

    had an idea....yes, it hurt

bake the cookies normally then, 1/2 to 3/4 of the way through, place them over the cupcake pan

    would they still run?

not talking about molding before cooked.
molding when partially cooked to prevent melting/running

I went ahead and tried to make cookie bowls this weekend. I cheated and bought a tub of the Tollhouse stuff. My wife had the genius idea of trying it ^^^^this way. I cooked them halfway and tried to spatula them up by the just smashed into a mess. I cooked them a little longer next time and tried again and it work a little, but it did not fully fold down over the edge. It came out more like a warped cookie. So I sprayed the hell out of the bottom of the pan and mold it over going about 1/4 of the way down the side. It turned out decent, no holes or anything but it took a lot of patience in getting it off still without tearing it up. I may try again this weekend, but use wax paper over the pan and then spraying the wax paper as well.
