    Where: Bridgeville, Delaware
    When: November 4,5,6

I went for my first time last year, and it was awesome.

It has been featured on Discovery Channel and the Science Channel. Adam and Jamie from Myth Busters are the official narrators.

The machines are insane. Definitely an event worth attending.

I'm planning on going but I'm not sure of the details yet. It will depend if anyone else is interested.

    So... Who wants to go??

I feel like I've heard of this. I'd be interested in going. I don't think I have anything going on that weekend.

Its absolutely incredible. You camp in the same cornfield as the competition, and the machines are huge. the air cannons can throw a pumpkin up to a mile.

AND... Dog Fish Head brewery is like 30 minutes from here, so I'd like to stop by over there too.

I'll get back up there some day.

I camped there 2 years ago and I don't think it's somewhere I would want to take the family. It wouldn't be so bad if you could be the furthest away from the machines as possible. Definetly something to expirience tho. I was there last year also but didn't camp. I have a buddy that lives 2 miles from that field and we just rode fourwheelers and avoided all the traffic.

They'd have fun. Might be worth getting a hotel room or camping somewhere else if you dont want them around a ton of drunk people, but there are lots of families there, and depending where you camp in the field it would be quieter than others.

    It's worth it!

Yea there's a ton of drunk people but there are some part of the camp ground that are family safe :)

    You going again this year?

Joe said if he can get off work he's in.

I'm down & got at least 2 people coming with.

Not the place for kids especially with the crowd we have interested so far :D

Here's the info from a different site http://www.punkinchunkin.com/

Groups must arrive at the same time to get camping spots together correct?

Whats your recommendation for a group of 10-20?

ive never actually camped but was considering it this year. Their web site says to meet at the corn field and to get your group together and then enter the area in order to camp near eachother, also says they can try to get you close together but no guarentees.

Sweet.. Glad we've got some interest. I'd say we should figure out when we want to get there and plan to meet up accordingly. I would be willing to take off from work Friday if people want to get down there that early. Last year I went down early Saturday and came home Sunday. Seemed to work well.

I'm down with taking off Friday and getting there early am to get the good spots. Worst case maybe we could grab spots for people that are coming late.

I think Jdmcq was thinking about coming as well.

You park in the cornfield and camp right next to the truck. Booze is allowed everywhere, just not for sale. Camp fires are supposed to be in a container.. Last year we dug a hole and put a metal concrete mixing pan in the hole and built the fire in that.
