That's not the same one that i was talking about, that is their previous model that REQUIRES you to have the OEM roof rails, and it is limited to 100LBS, that one cost 450 on Baja's site and then another 250ish for OEM rails, plus shipping for both items... so if you like me that one just doesn't make any sense. Also it is a smaller basket because it has to fit inside the dimensions of the OEM rails

you could get a better load capacity if the rack used all six contact points on the roof. i made my own mounts for a roof rack, it's really not that hard, but i'm waiting for a rack that looks good.

Don't get your hopes up. I just got the message from Baja Racks. They are willing to do a group buy with a 10% discount from MSRP for 5+ racks. So $517.50 plus shipping and tax in Ca. Not a deep enough discount for me to administer. If someone else, wants to administer, go for it.

    Too much, thanks TW.
$400.00 and free shipping and they will sell a butt ton of them.
There is about $200.00 in material, welding, and powder coat.
They can be more reasonable or they won't sell. Not in this economy.

Yea, $400-$425 was my hope. At that price, it isn't that pretty.

5100s/OME 888s. Dakar leaf pack. Total Chaos UCAs. DeMello Sliders. BAMF Recessed Grille. Prinsu Cabrack and Toprack.
The rack attaches to the built in mounts that are reinforced for the OEM racks. These would not be sitting directly on the sheet metal.

I'd hate to see the result of someone taking it off after a few years. I'm sure you'll see some damage. I don't like the way it looks in the first picture. Looks like it'll dent and/or take the paint right off the roof where it mounts, eventually rusting.
