    Shit Keith, since your looking for a little high end eating check out the Hotel Del in Coronado, its a landmark, a famous landmark with alot of history, excellent dining might as well spend another $40 & catch a cab, is Mr A's still downtown ( major price tag if it is...)

    Here's a quick search coming from the app Yelp, El Pescador Fish Market in la jolla, but there are som many places to eat and dine at just on the strip in la jolla, so nothing bad to say.
