What sort of feeling does this produce? I am noticing a feeling I can best describe as the clutch bouncing... I'm at around 25k.

    Thanks!

Does anyone know if this TSB applies to a 2009 Taco? Looks like our list only has this TSB updated in 2008, but my 09 has this rattle still.

    No feeling whatsoever, happens instantaneously.

If you are out of warranty, you are kind of SOL unless they create a TSB for it. Now even if they do, they will inspect your clutch, if it is too far gone, you will be coming out of pocket. If relatively new and not burnt, well, hopefully you have a generous service writer!

generous service writers are few and far between at least around san diego. My truck is under full warranty and have had to fight for the couple tsbs ive had done. Does that seem crazy?

Eh, not really. Toyota has definately been buckling down on "free work". One of the dealerships here in Vegas has gotten rid of a few people and replaced them with "company minded" people.

Just had my leaf springs updated at the Berlin City Toyota dealer in Berlin, NH, very fast, no questions asked did everything listed in the TSB for 2011 TSR. No change in bed height... very pleased.

also picked up the parts for the diff snorkel mod. Man Im soooo glad this community exists...

    THANKS TACOMAWORLD.com members!

I can believe that. There are a lot of dealerships in san Diego and you end up fighting tooth and nail to get something done

    I have two questions:
    1) Is it necessary for me to have a case number before going in to my dealer to repair my leaf springs, or can I come in with just the TSB # and the complaint of my rear sagging. I have a 2011 tacoma, and it is still under warranty.

and 2) does anyone know about the integrated trailer brake control system TSB on their tacomas? If so does this affect the v6 tacos with the tow package?
    TSB: TSB-0033-11
Component : ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INTEGRATED TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL Summary :
[IMG] TOYOTA: THE TRAILER BRAKES WILL NOT RELEASE WHILE VEHICLE IS IN REVERSE. THERE IS A MISSING RELAY. 2010-2011 TACOMA. *RM

    thanks

That seems like a trailer brake / harness issue

The tailgate TSB was for pre-2009 models that needed reinforcement added to the tailgate to prevent bending under load

I found this TSB which has to do with the Bluetooth Microphone volume adjustment. Might be worth adding to the list. I have been playing with it myself but I don't have any feedback at this time on how successful it is. It is really easy to do though. Just follow the instructions exactly. I got caught up when I got to the step where you push the volume up and volume down button on the steering 3 times. Up and down counts as one time, and you have to do exactly 3, no more and no less.

If your truck isnt under warranty anymore (bought it used) will the dealer still do the tsb's free of charge?
