Yeah either on the way or on the way back. Not entirely sure. Only thing I have planned is getting drunk and oogling women.

The HID's might draw a bit more. For example my 35W DDM ballasts draw 5.6A each. If the kragens are similar you would be looking at around 34A

HID's draw more than 2x their operating load during warm up.
As for my statement, I was just doing the math for the kid on paper to explain the need for a larger alternator (which I did wrong in my post, I only did 3 kragens and 2 halogens...but irrelevant). P=IV, simple as that. The fact that you say it might draw a bit more merly reinforces my information.
Obviously real world numbers are never the same as calculated and "your results may vary" is always a factor.
Nonetheless, thanks for yet again posting a completely worthless comment in our LT BS thread.

Point I was getting at is yes you are right, he is definitely going to need a bigger alternator

Hey Jason... How do you feel about cantilever setups, I find them extremely cool, love the mechanics of it.

do you have a serious small dick complex or what man? whenever you are posting on here you do tend to post shit that is 100% useless and typically just a peanut gallery response. if your not going to contribute then shut the fuck up.

Cantilever systems are cool but they take a lot of design work and time tuning them.

^What he said. Personally I wouldn't do one. Valving can be a PITA and a lot of trial and error getting it right. I'm perfectly content with my bedcage taking up bedspace because I have a Tundra if I need to do any serious hauling.

    ^What he said...again.
