Anyone Use The Coverking Spacer Seat Covers?

Heck of a lot cheaper than a set of Neoprenes or Wet Okoles. I can't justify $400+ on seat covers.

 

Just got them today, material is similar in texture to the inside panels on my seats. Just spent 15 mins to install the seat cushion part. A real pain in the ass, I'll be calling them soon. On the back of the seat cushion there is a carpet/plastic piece that goes under the seat (rear). I think I may need to remove that first to get the seat portion on. They seem like they will fit though.

 

So, it's a loose type mesh similar to the inner panels on our Tacos? I finally got a swatch of the material. It doesn't seem like it would be very durable and would stain just as easily as the OE seats. But do you like them?

I am waiting for Coverking to contact me, if you look at the back of the seats on a 2011, the rear seat panel is one piece and curves in below the seat cushion. This makes it impossible to pass the attachments through the area where the cushion meets the seat back. They may recommend me cutting that, whcih isnt going to happen, due to the fact that that piece hold the back of the seat in place with clips that attach to the bottom of the seat. If I get a fix will post pix.

 

The plastic that curves under the seat is held on by stretchy strings & a c-clip as you already know. I twisted myself up like a pretzel & took needle nose pliers & opened the clip, folded the plastic up behind the oem seat cover & installed my seat covers (W.O.'s not C.K.'s but they are similiar). The cover holds down the plastic flap when you cinched on the attachements.

When I traded the truck & took my seat covers off, I reversed the process, zipped tied the stretchy strings back. You couldn't notice it was flipped up 4+ yrs & the seats looked like the day I bought the truck.

At least that is my experience with the plastic curvy thing. Not sure if this helps.

Hey, I see from the Coverking website http://support.coverking.com/forums/20721091-material-information

that this Spacer Mesh is machine washable, recommended to air dry, not machine dry.

My question is has anybody run them through the dryer on the air dry setting? The reason I ask is because tumble dry can get the dog hair out of them.

I don't want the neoprene seat covers, I prefer cloth and Scotchgard it for moisture repellence.
