oh damn home boy, you be going big

hahaha its going to be a sick set up man. youll love those icons. ive decided to strap mine though.. the lower part of my UCA where the ball is hits the spindle at full droop. so im lowering the coils and strapping them as well.

spindle gussets and straps should be on your list too mang

what arms do you have brian? the burg 1.25"?

good call on the straps. they are a great idea for 2 reasons.

    1. to prevent the contact on the shock you were talking about

    2. when you air the truck out and the suspension goes full droop the only thing stopping it are the 3 small bolts in the coil bucket that hold the shock in there. those bolts can only take so much abuse and then when the fail they rip appart the coil bucket and F you in the A.

the straps will take the stress off the bolts and prevent butt f-ing from happening... and straps are dirt cheap.

i have the TC UCA with the ext travel COs. along with spindle gussets.
i actually have the TC arms matt. but it actually doesnt hit the shock, the bottom of the uniballs, what TC calls the spacers hits the outer part of the UCA. its hard to explain so ill try and get a picture today but ive pulled off metal from it already and i think the main reason is because my truck doesnt have that much droop right now since its so light. i think when i get straps ill lower the COs as well to where im level in the front. straps are 50 and anthony said he could weld them for a few pennies so thatll probably happen next week since i got twice as many hours at work :D

talked to solo today. got quoted for the spindle and lower uni bal conversion. 2230. also he said that my truck would need the lower ca or some shit drilled out 1 inch then drilled again to fit the 5/8 bolt. and i would need the bolt kit as well. mhhh. I'm also confused..if i give them my hubs then what?

your lower arm has a tapered (like this /\ ) hole for the balljoint. that hole needs to be drilled out to accommodate the bolt for the uniball.
