    Beware that when measuring ride height, even a slightly uneven or sloped ground surface (even seemingly imperceptible) can significantly affect your measurements -- you have to make sure that you are parked on a dead-level and flat planar surface.

    Interesting... I thought DumpTruckTacoma's numbers might be erroneously low for stock, but it looks like both of you guys are pretty much spot on with each other's ride heights which gives me faith in the numbers.

    I guess my 5100's are giving me about 3" in front and my Wheelers AAL's are giving me about 2" of rear lift -- overall more lift than I had previously thought. Thanks for posting up the stock height values. Time to trade in my 32"s for 34"s :D

    How are you guys doing your measurements from the center hub to the fender? It seems there is more room for human error when measuring from the center hub than if doing it from the ground because you can't get a straight-line height measurement from the center hub to the fender. Any thoughts?

    I did mine using a cloth measuring tape (used for sewing). I took the time to measure the exact center (or centre, if you are from Canadia ;) ) of each hub and marked the center/centre with a pencil.

    In reality, there are a few huge sources of measurement error -- e.g., 1) the inability to get a perfect straight line measurement to the fender, 2) the fact that each fender edge rises towards the rear (i.e., what defines the center of the fender?), and perhaps most importantly 3) any unevenness, irregularity, or slope of the ground surface on which the truck is parked. I'd guess that most of these measurements list in this thread are only reliable to +/- 1/4" at best.

    Do you mean parallax error when finding the center of the hub? I can see your concern, but I doubt it would be more than 1/8" off.

    Just did this lift yesterday initial measurements were higher, these are somewhat settled. I absolutely love the ride. Have'nt gotten an alignment yet but even so there are no vibes or drifting. I had slight steering wheel vibrations with the stock TRD suspension and was generally disappionted with the feel. This set up is night and day. I put about 100 miles since I installed the lift yesterday morning and I am very happy with the results. Good money spent.
