    What do you mean? The iPhone 4 is already out, and the iPhone 4S (coming out next Friday, the 14th) is going to look identical to the iPhone 4, but with minor changes to the bands in the metal ring surrounding it.

    I just spoke with my Developer rep at Apple and asked him about this. He said he didn't know for sure but it could be one of two things...

    1. The update package did not download completely, or it is corrupt due to latency issues (too many people downloading at once)
    2. The Apple Verification Server is flooded with requests and is not able to verify all of the updates that are coming in (this is only for those of you that are Restoring, to my knowledge)

    I would recommend closing everything, rebooting both your Mac/PC and device and then trying again. Might wait until tonight or something for the craziness to subside also.

    The guy here in the office had issues with his iPad, but his iPhone is working so far...it's extracting the software now.

    The iPhone 5 is slated to be the next iteration of the iPhone. All we have to go off of is the history of Apple product releases, which points to it being released late next year as all of the previous iPhones (the 4S being the latest release thus far, to my knowledge).

    If you are talking about an iPhone, the message notifications would only go to the specific number it is being sent to; they should be completely independent of the Apple ID, given that SMS/MMS services are at the carrier-level.

    If you are talking about an iPad, I believe it goes off of the MAC (not Mac, MAC...) address of the device...so I don't think that should be an issue either.

    The only thing I don't know about is iMessage. However, I have to assume that it will all be based off of MAC addresses, given that this is the only way to guarantee messages are being sent to the correct device.

    You will want to confirm that with Apple first, just to be safe...and yes...I know what you are getting at. :thumbsup:
