Wheeling on Vancouver Island

yea man, what are you thinking?

 

Right now it's pretty open. Could be a coffee or burger meet up thing, or we could organize for a week or so out to do some wheeling up in some area near here.

 

sounds like a good idea to me. i'm off too toronto tomorrow, until next week. I free on weekends usually, and after 5 most weekdays. What area do you live in? I see a lot of tacos around here and always wondered how many know about tacomaworld.

 

Hey guys i live in victoria and go up island to renfrew and shawnagin almost every weekend for camping and 4x4ing, it would be sick to roll around with a couple other tacoma's!!!

 

Take a drive out to Nitinat, beautiful area with lots of potholes and tonnes of washboard...

 

I'm farther up in Courtenay but there's lots of good places in between!

 

Just wanted to see if anyone is interested in my tires, Five Bf Goodrich All Terrain's, 265/75R16, E load range. Just over 1500km on four, 0 on the spare, decided I don't wheel enough to justify the taller/more aggressive tires. Id want $1000 for the five, would have to arrange getting new tires and having them swapped on.


As far as exploring goes I want to take a drive out to Carmanah Walbran soon if anyones into it.

 

I would be so down to go out there! when where you thinking?

Always, I go almost every weekend with my buddies around the Valley. Could always use some more Taco's!

 

I may have to get in on this. I'm up in CR. Lots of open roads/no gates here.

Definitely come out and we'll have some fun. I wanted to explore this area more but I was "working" and there was too much snow to spend too much time getting to the plane wreck

Where are you at Hennji? Like I said we usually get a group and explore the logging roads and find some cool spots by mt washington or in Campbell River.
I'd like to explore south of us too, anywhere really

Yeah there's tons even regardless of the gates they put up. I wanted to explore around Port Alberni, Haven't wheeled there yet. Campbell River is good for spots too.
