Sorry guys, I don't know what I was thinking, ill try to be more helpful. Let's all be friends again and get back on topic.

Jason is right. Cantilever systems are a pain and if you can afford to lose some bed space, a bed cage is a better option

im not really a big fan of cantilever setups! its just a lot of fab work for nothing special! Its cool to do if u want something different but for me i would never do it unless it had a significant advantage over normal LT!
Although i have seen a few setups in person that were pretty sick!!

uhhh... you sure about that? nothing special is a far cry from what you get with canti systems. you can tune anything into a canti and may very well be more tunable to a point... problem is supposedly they are a pain in the ass to tune but like everything else, once tuned they are killer.

Depending on how you set up your motion ratio you can get more travel out of the same size shock

Doesn't the leaf still limit the max. Travel numbers you can get?! (don't know a while lot about cantilever setups)

Yes, at some point there will be something other than the shocks limiting travel

Only problem with that set up above is that a rock can take out the shock body. I don't know if I want to leave 1200 dollars worth of shocks up to a rock.

ok so i have a question mainly for you matt do all raptors have a rear block to get the lift or is it just the four door ones cause i was poking my head around one today that was at my work and noticed it had a 2 in block in the rear you would think if your paying upwards of 50k for a truck you would at least get a add aleaf not a block

im having trouble finding a high output alternator, jason do you have a link to where you got yours from?

i was on Amazon and was searching for high output alternator, i found some for 300+ but it didnt even say the amps...

ill have 3 100w kc daylighters, led rock lights(like 2 amps lol) 2 35w dust ligts, 2 35w reverse lights, 5 kragen HIDs... so im guessing i need at least a 150amp right?

Haha. It not the lack of knowledge... It's all the beer drinking going on during the dismantle process that screws you when it time to put shit back together

All good man. I do like them but they def need work to make them truly worthy
