Hi guys, I'm looking into buying a 3" suspension lift on my truck and i was wonder, what lift would you guys recommend to me?
I'm trying to get a lift with 3" in the front and 3" in the back.
If anyone can give me some suggestions, that'll be great.

    Thanks,
    John

Seems the majority vote for toytec around here or OME, with AAL in the rear.
If there is no budget then coilovers with AAL in the rear.

I'm thinking around 300 - 400$ would be a good price for a 3" suspension lift, any suggestions? I've been told to look at Toytec, skyjacker, and tuff country.

I'm planning on getting a set of eagle series 186 rims and 285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers if i get the 3" suspension lift.

I'm still trying to find out if the eagle 186's would fit

here's the specs for the eagle 186s

    Part #: 1864-7865
    Size: 16x8
    Backspacing: 4
    Offset: -11mm
    Lug Pattern: 6x5.5

Would those fit on my 2wd 6 lug PreRunner, I've heard that alot of 16" wheels have had problems fitting.

And here's a bit more details about the lift, I will hardly ever go offroad and it won't be anything to rough or extreme if I do. I have a 2wd (PreRunner), so I really want the 3" lift for the agressive stance/look.

    Thanks,
    John

I'm looking into getting that lift with 2 rear Hydro shocks, what do you think about that lift?

Wow, I never knew that, but then again, this is my FIRST truck and that's why I'm so inexperienced in all of this.

I've been looking at Toytec lifts
Here's what I have in mind with What do you guys think? Will those Pro Comp shocks fit with the lift? They are extended, so I think they should. What do you think about the Pro Comp shocks?

Oh, and what is the difference between the rear nitrogen charged shocks and these

The OME package (1st link) is good stuff

I don't have experience with those shocks... but the difference between those two (2nd and 3rd link) is that the "expensive" ones are nitrogen charged and the others are not.

How about that package? Will the spacers make my truck ride rougher than with the OME 884 coils? If so, is it a huge difference? I don't plan on taking my truck off road (as it is a 2wd), I just really want a more aggressive stance.

I have the 3" Revtech lift and I have 285/75R16 Muds on my stock 16 inch rims. The lift took about 4 hours and cost $340. I do a lot of off roading and have been very happy with it. The only thing I did not like is that it is a 1" block lift in the rear but after it was on I decided it looked very good like that. Plenty of room for the tires in the front and back.

Am I reading this right? You can get front and rear Bilstein 5100's only to get your 3" lift for $316 and need nothing else?

I actually looked into getting the 5100's but chose not to. My brother put them on his 07 DC SB 4x4. He likes them, it looks good, but they are only a 2.5 inch lift and not a 3". This was confirmed throught measurments before and after the lift was installed on the same tires.

the skyjacker longer struts will not hold any offroad bumper i know that. and to get a true 3" in rear, u need the ome leafpack Spring Set CS047. most of these kits u are lookin at do not give a real 3" in rear, but only a 1.5" in rear so as to level the back with the front.
