So, I'm thinking about blacking my truck out. Its jade imperial micah, I'm just not 100% sure that its gonna look great. I saw a picture on here of someone with a green Taco with black rims and it looked awesome. I think I'm gonna leave my grill chrome, and black out my emblems, the chrome on my front bumber, and possibly my back bumber. I know I'm going to leave my front emblem chrome so it'll stand out!

You can always spray the chrome parts with the rubber coating (i forget the name off the top of my head) and if you don't like you can just peel it off and if you do like it peel it off and do it right as you have the cash.

I would get rid of the chrome if it was me, I think everything blacked out with the green truck will look really nice imo .

I would paint the grille/bumper black and all the other chrome black and get some clear corner/blinker lights and thats it. I hate it when people do blackouts and smoke all the lights...looks cheezy.

    IMHO...

Yeah, they make a spray stuff. Used it on my HD to get an idea of how things would look black.

I'm definitely not going to smoke my lights, i think its really ugly! But thats just my opinion! My friend used this rubber undercoating stuff to spray his fenderwells and rockguard black and it worked really well so I'll prolly use that or engine block black paint.
