Fine, I'm down with that. Kings win, you put a Kings avatar. Flyers win I put a Flyers avatar. One week. It actually is, I'm liking Richards, but Gagne in my opinion isn't performing up to my expectations. I guess we'll have to see.

Done deal. Avatar betting is much better then cash. No broken legs for me :D

Yea, it looks like the trade woke up Richards from the highlights I have seen.

Gagne took a while to settle in here. Maybe the trade deflated his ego and he needs to build up his confidence again. I actually liked him better then Richards.

Nice, well I hope they both pan out, so far Richards is. You guys got quite a talent in Claude Giroux.

Funny you should bring him up.....his first NHL point was against Vancouver :D

He has shot up through the ranks very well and I would bet this year is his best to date. At 23yo I don't think he has come close to reaching his climax so I'm glad we have him signed for this and 2 more seasons. Maybe another contract extension will be in the works..........

Bottom line is the Caps over the Pens 3-2. ;)

Not a classy move by Asham, he'll probaly get fined.

I was pretty unimpressed by the Caps last night. Vokoum held them in there, the rest of the team didn't look all that great and got outplayed most of the game. Atleast the Pens got a pt.

You've still got it OZ. I've been MIA for a while but glad to see you're doing well Oz.
BTW I actually won tix to the Jets season opener. Went to the bar across the street to watch the game and ended up winning tickets in row 3 lower bowl...
    :D

Crap, not sure if that vid I posted had his moves to the crowd after Beagle went down. Here's 2 more links that tell the story:

The taunt move post fight: http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/pu...-Asham-bloodies-Jay-Beagle-wh?urn=nhl-wp14800

Asham post game interview saying he was classless: http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog...t-taunt-was-8216-classless-mo?urn=nhl-wp14807

I agree that Letang should have taken this, but it's also Asham's job. Beagle said yes to Asham because he wants to stay in the league (versus being sent back down to the AHL forever). These young kids do whatever they can to stay. King should dress next time these 2 teams play.

How much did that building shake when Antropov scored? Must have been a great feeling.
