i was thinking in the back all the way up against the side...

were going to try and notch out the hump in the floor before we do anything else.

Yeah the rangers seats are sidways, and give you a super small area, way smaller then the taco's.

Good to see your so busy on your truck!

and if i somehow fit it forward..

thoughts? by notching the hump in the back seat, height is the only downfall to that

Ever heard someone hit their head in your back seats? Right now you dont have tubes that will split your head wide open. I can almost guarantee the will not be enough clearance for your head to the roll bar tubes. Your going to kill someone back there if they hit their head. And you wouldnt even have to crash to do it, just a good hard jolt front to back. Maybe if your lucky their head will just go through your back window

that's if you could convince anybody that they should crawl in to a sideways seat in a caged truck. it's already a pain in the ass to get into the back without a cage and suspension seats

we're telling ya eric... just go with 2 seats

you'll never be sitting back there so that test won't help...lol

there's a reason you have never seen an extra cab tacoma w/ a 3rd seat. hell, the double cabs are tight when you cage the truck and have seats in the back

And Accurate, friend of mine had an old S10 with the side ways seats, got in a little fender bender when I was in the back seat, pretty much did what the pic describes, minus the blood as stock seats are kind of soft. Race seats I don't think would be so forgiving:cool:
