From someone who flies- This is so not cool. It's hard enuf to fly at night without some douchehole trying to blind you.
It's illegal and it WILL get you arrested if caught.

Not enough, but it has to be voluntary mansluaghter or neglegant homicide if something fatal happens.

Not cool at all. Do you ever get "lazer'd" ? If so do you have anyway to know who it is?

Mmmm good ol Wescam FLIR. I use that camera all the time, fun! Anyways, thats sacramento! The position doesn't jive with what the TGT reads though.... I looked it up on maps and its pretty open fields, not suburbia.

Had this happen on a flight to Burlington vt, but whoever was pointing it at me was signaling SOS... So I circled them, they stopped, and I reported their lat lons to Boston center. It was in the mountains, but I never found out if it was a for real, or someone joking.

I heard one of those stories about a friend of a friend who knows a guy who heard about this dude that..........

anyway, the guy was standing in a field in a semi remote location lasering planes. Less than a half an hour from the time he lasered the first plane, a black Chevy Tahoe shows up with some serious looking dudes dressed in black. They not so nicely told him to knock that shit off or he wasn't gonna like what would happen to him next.

The response time is what got me. He was twenty minutes from town. They were either out there already, or were dispatched from a not-so-big town within ten minutes.

    Don't fawk wit teh airplanes!:D
