Well not the very first ever, but in my truck. Ive always been the passanger, and i dont count slinging my xploder through some mud holes wheeling since i never used 4x4.

I got my truck in mid july, and never tested out the 4x4. I was on a mission yesterday to find somewhere to test it, and i did. Living in the mountains if you go down enough back roads you eventually find one that 4x4 is mandatory. Its been raining a lot for about the past month so everything is nice and washed out, slick and muddy. I got to the first water bar on the road and couldnt make it past the slick mud...time to drop it in 4x4 low, the road was steep and slick, not to mention the huge washed out water bars. Soon as it engaged it didnt even slip once, that thing was a beast climbing up the hill even with my old low tread tires. That was just getting my feet wet, now im ready for more!! It was a blast, i took mom and the kids with me they had fun too, they thought it was hilarious gettin slung around in the back from all ruts... I dont have many pics since i was driving and there wasnt any good places to stop and take them without risking getting completly stuck, but ill try to get the few that i have up.

Im pretty sure my truck was a pavement princess before i got him and only used 4x4 once that i know of, well thats what the original owner told me, that he only has to use it once for snow.

Girrrrll!!! You have bigger cajones than I do! I'd be afraid to go out alone without another truck with me...ya know, just in case that inner dum dum inside of me decides to kick in and do something that gets my truck stuck somewhere.

I bet your family had a blast! Just be careful to stay on trails and such. What tires do you have right now? And now that you've got the taste of mud do you planning on getting mud tires? :D

When it comes down to serious muddin, yes i will have a buddy with me, this was an actual road people live on, they just use the other side of the mountain to access their houses.

My inner dum dum was kept at bay due to the fam being with me....if i was by myself it would have been a different story

the current tires are mesa a/p ??? whatever those are...and yes although it is my dd so i cant get full out mudders, i have my eye on some bfg all terrain t/a ko :D

always had a taste of mud, just the first time me and blackie went out...i used to play in my 92 exploder, i did everything i could to kill it, but it would never die. atv's and such are fun too.
