hawk pads and best rotors...price?

    I'm looking into replacing my front pads and rotors. Most on here recommend the Hawk LTS pads. I also want to buy rotors, but I am not sure where to get the best deal...I am in Canada, but I posted here as this section gets more traffic.
    What have you guys paid for pads and rotors? Can anyone recommend where to get them up here in the great white north?

    Just got my ebc rotors at PerformanceParts4Less that cost $70 each. They claim g3000 iron. Don't know what that means but I guess they are strong. Ordered hawk lts for $70.

    Any rotor with the longest warranty. Locally, not online just in case you need to use the warranty.

    On my Tacoma and most every other vehicle I've worked on I run Hawk pads and SP Performance slotted rotors.

    Slotted rotors function just as much as our hood scoop. It's common knowledge that slotted rotors are a thing of the past for vehicles that were not designed to use them. You want more surface area for your pad to clamp to.

    They may do nothing for you, but I want more surface area for heat dissipation and a place for water to escape from between the pads and the rotors when I'm splashing through 2 foot deep puddles at speed.

    i have brembo in my lexus sc and 99 land cruiser.(non-slotted or drilled). they're about 60 for rear and 70 front at various online retailers. they're great.

    You don't need to worry about water escaping. It will evaporate.

    Just because something doesn't apply to your situation and needs does not automatically mean it's unnecessary in every situation.
