The otter box from the 4g won't work on the 4s. So I had to buy a new one.

Most people use Tapatalk, I think.

I host my pics, so I just copy and paste the URL.

I usually use photobucket, but I wasn't sure if I could post a picture directly from my phone?

You can. Just get the URL from Photobucket, and put the tags around it.

I'm not sure if the "Insert Image" function works via Safari or not.

Anyone use the cards app yet? I made and sent one Wednesday - curious as to the lead time on these. I know I'll the USPS notification when it goes out for delivery but it'd still be nice to know how long it will take!

I'm not going to lie...the addition of that app flabbergasted me. It was just so random...imagine the design meeting...

"Alright guys, today...we're going to design the most badass iOS ever!! Woooootttt!! Aside from AirPlay Mirroring, wireless updates and iCloud, which are some of the technologically advanced things we've done so far...what are some other ideas? Yes...Bill, whatcha got?! I'm stoked to hear your badass idea!"

"Umm...so...like...I was just thinking...what if you could um, like...send a Hallmark card, you know like Happy Birthday, Get Well, and um...stuff, but...electronically...and, um, I just think that'd be super sweet...?"

I agree with all of you! It was so insanely random, I didn't think much of it at the time. Thinking about it now and after using it, it's a classic example of Apple making something that people didn't know they wanted.

I'm terrible at remembering to send cards for whatever the occasion, let alone actually going out at physically buying one. I for one am happy to pay the $2.99 for a card that I can make so easily - I don't have to go a store and look through 500 different stupid cards, spend the $2-5 for a generic card, waste the gas to get there, then fill it out and forget a word or mispell something stupid and waste the card.

At the very least, a pretty stupid simple marketing idea.

Apple already does a Photo album printing service. Probably someone from that team said why not do greeting cards? So they whipped up an app. It's not like it's included in iOS 5, just a new app that was released at the same time. Same as Find my Friends. Not an iOS 5 feature, just a new app.

Oh I'm fully aware. If it was embedded in the OS, I would have to make fun of it even more. Either way, they timed it around iOS 5 and obviously put some thought into it.

Whatever design meeting the idea was born in, had to be entertaining. :D
