Like the title says. I drive through some ridiculous mud and snow, and I'm due for new tires. (Currently running SilentArmors on stock alloys). The SilentArmors did well (when they were new..), but given the places I'll be working this winter, I'm looking at something like a DuraTrac or similar.
ANYway... I want to run a winter set of wheels, and save the purdy alloys for summer (and an all-season tire..)

Where would one find a plain, boring, black, steel rim to use 4 months out of the year? I'm not wanting to lift the truck or do any cutting underneath, so I'm guessing a 265-75/16 is the way to go for a tire.. would a 16x8 wheel work? Anyone have some suggestions or links I need to leaf through?

    Thanks in advance.

I got a set of these right now, good enough:
Also, you can always buy someone's stock wheels when they upgrade, I see them on here and craigslist all the time.

Hit up a place like Pepboys, look for cheap, steel American Racing wheels.

I have the stock wheels off of my 06 TRD which I really have no use for. There are a few minor bumps and bruises on them but should work for what you need. I am in Ohio so not sure what the shipping would be but I am willing to let them go for a small fee if your interested. Just send me a PM.
