Yes, all gas is equal. It all comes out of the same tank, the only variable is the additive package (which are generally all the same, just branded differently). Don't believe the hype.

I don't use just because everyone else is cheaper. I have used but I don't go out of my way to use it.
I figured gas is like the Simpson's Duff beer. The scene where Homer goes on the tour and there are three flavors of duff but it all coming from the same source.
Can't find the picture right now.

^ I'd refuse to go to Arco or small independent stations. . . Something about it. I never go when they're filling it up neither. They stir all the crap around when filling.

Costco, Chevron, Shell, Mobil, 76 is all good in my book.

working in the refinery business. I've actually watched the tandem trailer supply semi's of all brands fill up from the same tank... sssshhhhhhhh dont tell anyone.... only difference is octane rating, the companies usually supply each other in order to save costs, if they can supply their stations from the other guys closer refineries, they will. saves coin in the long run

well thats not technically true... this one time one of the underground fuel containment tanks got a crack in it, ground water seeped in, destroyed quite a few engines so i heard

I would also say that is not true. Going to irving, I see about 2+3 more mileage addition using 87 than going to sunoco, which is 20c cheaper..... That gas is like water in my truck, I always have to go to either exxon or irving

Also, the station this happened too was 40+ years old, it actually ended up getting decommisioned because of it. they couldn't fix it so it was just abandoned

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
The gas that goes in the deliver truck is the same...the additives are then added, spec'd by the buyer.

What additives make gas more pure or whatever? I would actually like to know, thinking about running the highest grade..

It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
I go to the same brand always..Safeway when my bank account is punching me in the face, Chevron when I'm eating like a king..might as well be gassing like a king.

Those are the only two stations I put gas in my trucks.

My old Yota ran like shit and got shitty mileage if I HAD to put some other form of gas other then Safeway or Chevron.

I've been thinking about switching to Costco gas. I'm currently using Chevron super unleaded/supreme, but their price around here are around $4.00/gallon compared to Costco's supreme @ $3.85/gallon. Would I notice a difference in performance?

Red is from negative reps. In Cmack's case, it was probably a mod that did it. You can't negative rep anyone anymore as people were getting butthurt over negative reps left with no username; only positive or neutral (which does nothing) are available now.
