    I'm too attached at this point. Not many people can say they replaced their own motor before. I like to think of the truck as my third child....except I swear at it more and throw tools at it. :eek:

    170k on your 3.4?! why would you replace the whole motor? pull the bottom end, take it to a machine shop and have it balanced. while its there, order yourself some forged pistons to re-install with new rings. boom. all new motor and im sure that would be cheaper than a "new" used motor.
